One hundred artists.
Above every stabilizer tube that steadies a shoreline sits a canvas. We are inviting one hundred artists to put their work on those canvases — beside the brands that fund the work, on camera for Saving BÚ, a twelve-part documentary series, and in front of people who came to the beach and stayed to look.

Where coastal recovery becomes a canvas for change.
Film by Gregory J Sarno · 2:46. Each stabilizer tube carries a printed canvas — one artist per tube, the partner brand beside the work.
The Beach Recovery system slows the water so sand settles and a beach rebuilds itself. The stabilizer tubes that do that sit at the shoreline, and above them we mount canvases — large-format, weather-rated, visible from the sand and from the water.
Those canvases carry two things side by side: the work of a collaborating artist, and the mark of a partner brand whose support pays for the installation. Together they are the subject of Saving BÚ, a public utility film and art project, documented across a twelve-part series as the shoreline changes behind them.
We aspire to heal the earth by advocating for sustainable solutions. The art is how that argument reaches people who would never read an engineering report.

You are listed
Your name, practice and city on this page, with a link to your own website. The roster is public and permanent for the life of the project.

Your work is installed
A piece of yours reproduced on a canvas above a stabilizer tube at a project site, beside a partner brand, credited on the canvas itself.

You are in the film
The installations are filmed as the shoreline recovers. Your work, and where you want it, your voice, appear in Saving BÚ, the twelve-part documentary series, with an on-screen credit.

You are part of the events
Brand-awareness campaigns and Foundation events — the first in Miami during Art Basel Miami Beach week, December 2026 — with collaborating artists invited and shown.
The project
A shoreline that rebuilds itself, and a hundred pictures of it doing so.
Saving BÚ — twelve episodes. One pilot site, then the next. Every installation photographed and filmed from the day the tubes go in, so the art stands in front of the change it is arguing for.

How to apply
1 · Email us
Write to jb@beachrecoveryfoundation.org with your name, your practice and a link to your work. That is all the first email needs.
2 · Receive the form
We send the collaborating-artist application form and the collaboration terms — what we may reproduce, where, and for how long. You keep your copyright.
3 · Hear back
Applications are reviewed in the order they arrive. We reply to everyone, and confirmed artists go onto the roster the same week.

Any medium that can be reproduced on a large-format canvas: painting, murals, photography, digital, illustration, textile, and sculpture by photograph.
